TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

5-10 days per year for internal meetings and customer visits

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Fluent Finnish language skills - writing/ reading and speaking
  • Any other local Nordic language is a plus
  • Fluent English - writing / reading and speaking

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE AND KEY COMPETENCES

  • Bachelor degree in health economics/procurement
  • First-hand experience from working with wholesalers, tender authorities, purchasers and professional staff as well as broad knowledge of the healthcare industry and its competitors
  • Experience from working in Medical Device Industry will be an advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data gathered from a variety of sources
  • Experience in data analysis to maximize Convatec sales and gross margin
  • Through effective decision-making, planning and implementation, deliver superior business results within tight deadlines
  • Experienced in negotiating, knowledge of the Business to Government relationship and EU procurement

Responsibilities:

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carry out Convatec tender excellence (pre-tender, submission and implemenation) as per Nordic tender excellence process in close collaboration with the entire local market and X-Nordic commercial team
  • Responsible for public and private tenders and price agreements within AWC and OC product portfolios in hospitals, communities and other channels
  • Contribute to implement local tactical plans and strategies to drive access and sales of existing and new product segments within all channels for Advanced Wound Care and Ostomy Care
  • Contribute to business development across AWC and OC
  • Responsible for defining short and long term strategies to maximize the sales and margin for Convatec
  • Implement strategies and execute tactical plans and drive access and sales in close collaboration with sales teams
  • Work closely with entire local Commercial Team to develop and execute the local market access strategy
  • Keep overview of status for all tenders in Planner
  • Ensure close cooperation with sales and marketing team in the tender process as well as with distributors for indirect tenders
  • Manage of pricing strategies
  • Negotiation with key purchasers and wholesalers
  • Responsible for monthly forecasting in cooperation with Supply Chain
  • Responsible for professional backorder resolutions and temporary solutions
  • Drive incremental access and seek new business opportunities
  • Responsible for tender contract management
  • Establish strong and sustainable working relationships with business partners, distributors, key wholesalers and purchasers, demonstrating accountability with a focus on customer needs and Convatec business objectives
  • Support Marketing with new product launches and rationalization of non-strategic products
