MARKET DATA ENGINEER – A GLOBAL TIER ONE PROP TRADING HOUSE – SYDNEY ROLE

Our client is a leading global hedge fund with a significant presence in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. They are currently looking to expand their team by hiring a market data developer.

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a market data developer, you will collaborate closely with traders, infrastructure, and technology teams to deliver regional and global market data and analytics for front office users.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Subject Matter Expertise: Become the expert for the firm’s proprietary market data archive
• Tool Development: Build and maintain proprietary tools for configuration, process management, deployment, and monitoring.
• High-Performance Computing: Develop and maintain high-performance computing (HPC) pipelines for data collection, validation, transformation, visualization, and analysis.
