Overview:
This position will support business strategy initiatives through meaningful analytics. The successful market researcher will digest market and industry data to construct insights from a variety of sources (including databases, industry reports, social media, others) to enhance competitive positioning.
Responsibilities:

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, statistics, economics, or data science. Other undergraduate degrees will be considered pending past work experience.
  • 6+ years of market research, market intelligence, analyst, or consulting experience
  • Ability to interpret large amounts of data into meaningful analysis
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys, etc.)
  • Advanced skill level with Excel and data visualization tools (Power BI)
  • Demonstrated excellence in PowerPoint to create visually compelling presentations, including the ability to integrate data, graphics, and effective storytelling techniques.
  • Prior experience with syndicated data sources desirable (Circana, Euromonitor)
  • Advanced experience in a CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
    The standard compensation for this role is $93,200 - $134,600. Salary offers will be determined based on final candidate qualifications, experience, skillset, and other relevant factors.
    Compensation Statement: The expected salary range for the position described in this posting is made in accordance with the legal mandates of certain jurisdictions within the United States. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on individual qualifications and experience. Benefits Statement: Benefits include medical, dental, vision and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in the company’s 401K Employee Saving Plan and may participate in its Employee Wellness Program. Responsibilities:

  • Collect and organize data on customers, consumers, and competitors for target markets and consolidate information into actionable items, reports and presentations
  • Construct insights on future growth and strategy through historical business analysis and forecasting of industry and customer trends
  • Share insights and recommendations in a structured and easily digestible manner in both written and oral format, persuading based on facts and sound logic
  • Provide continual updates for business leadership with respect to the analysis of market evolution, competitive landscape, and alignment to company strategy
  • Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties research and implement best practices
  • Partner with the commercial organization to support growth initiatives
  • Key participant in the development of materials to support business growth and relationship building
  • Conduct SWOT analysis on key competitors to identify opportunities to win market share
  • Identify and evaluate adjacent market and product opportunities during annual strategic planning process and ongoing
  • Research identified acquisition targets
