Research is at the forefront of how we discover what our customers need. We strive to learn and understand these needs, behaviours, and emotions to yield insights that inform strategy and business decisions.
We have an amazing opportunity for a Market Research and Insight Manager to join our Research Team within the Experience Design Centre of Excellence and key partner to our Customer Team in the Consumer Banking.
We need someone who is a NPS guru, enjoys a challenge and has experience in turning an organisations loyalty around. You will be able to draw from practical experience to produce highest quality market analysis, business insights, and recommendations. These will be used by the business to inform decision making and guide strategy for how we best understand the market, customers, and the perceptions they have of Westpac.
You must be an excellent communicator and have a collaborative nature to work with the business using your skills to synthesise available research data, conduct surveys, identify themes and key insights.

Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?

  • Experience in business customer data for NPS desirable
  • Experience in extensive NPS market research and the ability to run a leading NPS program
  • Experience of summarising quantitative research findings.
  • Research focused Bachelor’s or similar in Psychology or Human Factors, Marketing or Statistics along with demonstrable experience agency and / or client side. Agency side a bonus.
  • Quantitative analysis skills in manipulating complex datasets in software like Q or SPSS.
  • Strong technical skills, knowledge of Qualtrics is essential, PowerBI, Miro and Figma a bonus. Functional and adept in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent analytical skills and deeply creative with great problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to visibly and proactively manage and prioritise workload in a deadline driven environment with multiple internal customers.
  • Manages relationships with external research providers to get the most from those relationships and from the data they provide.
  • Ideally, market experience in a financial environment
