Description:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Ownership of Activity Development and Execution (online and offline) process to ensure all activity meets triple win objectives (Good for Westmill customer, consumer)
  • Develop & maintain Activation Playbooks (online and offline) identifying how to win in each channel by brand, allowing for simple planning, execution and cost management.
  • Ownership of E-Comm and Digital Strategy to continue strong growth across platforms
  • Delivery and evaluation of Shopper & E-Comm Marketing plans in Grocery to ensure best in class visibility for our brands at the point of purchase.
  • Ownership of activation plans through third party sales & merchandising agencies, including chef conversion & retail merchandising.
  • Ownership of print ordering solution to deliver smooth, efficient and cost effective solutions.
  • Agency management to ensure value for money and optimised deliverables.
  • Track, review and evaluate campaigns and suggest improvements to deliver better returns
  • Ensure alignment and excellent execution of plans and campaigns through internal and external stakeholder management.
  • Coach, develop and upskill members of the Activation Team.
  • Provide support and guidance for EU TMM to ensure consistency of activation across UK/EU

Responsibilities:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketeer to lead the development and execution of the activation requirements across both our branded and non-branded portfolio. In this newly created role, you will be responsible for successfully activating the category and brand strategies across both online and off line sales channels, including Independent Wholesale & Retail and Grocery Multiples. You will have ownership of the activity development and execution process, including identifying how to win in each channel, allowing for seamless planning, execution and cost management. Reporting to the Head of Brands, you will have an important leadership role within the marketing team, having line responsibility for both our Shopper Marketing Manager and E-commerce and Digital Manager, whilst also providing indirect management support for the EU Trade Marketing Manager, to ensure greater consistency in activation across multiple geographic markets.
