Description:

Abbott is recruiting a Marketing Analyst to be based in our office in Diegem, Belgium.
As a Marketing Analyst, your role is to increase the operational effectiveness by facilitating analysis for the marketing teams in order to measure and monitor performance and market share developments to drive business activities.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and present trends both at market, product and individual customer level
  • Collect, process and analyze competitive data
  • Support/prepare business case for new product or indication launches
  • Develop performance dashboard for different products, new and old: product lifecycle, product mix, pricing trends, reimbursement trends, replacements versus de novo, etc..
  • Implement reporting tools to help sales and marketing organizations understand performance of different countries
  • Drive strategic account management initiatives as well as other organizational activities geared at improving account effectiveness
  • Provide strategic analysis related to account profiling and other business analytics
  • Connect financial data to marketing strategies and report to management on regular basis
  • Establish and generate appropriate executive and detailed reports: convert complex information into comprehensible reports, provide interpretation of results to sales and marketing

Your Profile:

  • Master’s degree in Economics, Business administration, Finance, Statistics
  • Significant relevant working experience in similar position
  • Excellent practical knowledge of finance, sales & marketing techniques.
  • Good analytical skills, eye for detail, good presentations skills
  • Result oriented, capable to work independently
  • International oriented team player
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken). Other languages are an asset.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS-excel and MS-Access
  • Experience with Business Objects is a plus
  • Ability to manage large data files
