Description:

SUMMARY AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Assist Marketing and the enterprise with efforts to ensure the overall success of the marketing and digital programs by assessing and analyzing data, report generation and serving as the point of contact regarding wellness plan inquiries.
Focus on increasing the value of marketing programs, client retention and profitability through data reporting and analysis, dashboard development and product/program insights.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Marketing, or a related field is required, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Five years of management reporting experience with a demonstrated capability to learn data warehouse concepts, relational database structures, data marts, SQL functions/procedures and BI platforms, including visualization, are required.
  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau, Microsoft Suite, and Oracle is required.
  • Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills with ability to see “big picture” by dependably generating accurate and actionable insights from large datasets are required.
  • Enhanced knowledge and skills in statistical analysis and predictive modeling with Python or R are preferred.
  • Advanced analytics and ML skills are preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
  • Assist in the execution of strategic initiatives and OGSM’s involving Wellness Plan products and services.
  • Provide metric assistance for Optimum Wellness Plans (OWP), pets, client growth, retention, and product sales.
  • Support efforts to enhance OWP research, analytics, insights, and analysis.
  • Interact with external vendors and agencies as needed.
  • Understand, identify and track KPIs to monitor business performance.
  • Identify, report, and make recommendations on improvement opportunities.
  • Build self-service Business Intelligence reporting with Power BI.
  • Conduct statistical analysis and A/B testing to evaluate marketing initiative performance.
  • Maintain existing Power BI reports which service a variety of Marketing stakeholders.
  • Build automated processes and manage data pipelines/Document new and existing processes with high detail.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses for marketing initiatives.
  • Develop complex datasets utilizing SQL for use in Marketing reports.
  • Build, manage and maintain automated SQL processes for marketing data.
  • Communicate insights and findings to stakeholders.
  • Other job duties as assigned.
