Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree qualified in a Finance, Statistics, Mathematics or Business-related discipline highly desired.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of commercial experience, working cross-functionally with a mix of experience in areas of data and analytics, product, marketing, sales and/or finance
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to present findings and recommendations to all levels of the business, through verbal and written findings
- Experience in working with online marketing programs with CPC, CPA, and CPM cost models
- Deep understanding of performance marketing, content strategy, and analytics. A data-driven strategist who focuses on a rigorous LTV/CAC approach.
- Advanced experience in working with analytical tools such as Google Analytics
- Advanced experience in working with data visual BI tools such as Data Studio or Tableau
- Advanced skills with SQL, Excel and BigQuery
- All related products in Google Marketing Platform, Social Media, Google Ads, Salesforce Analytics (Marketing Cloud & Pardot) are desirable.
- G-Suite and Microsoft office products
- Thorough understanding of various online and offline marketing funnels
- Very data driven and should be curious about and tell stories using data
- Sensitivity to potential trade-offs between performance and branding
- Strong sense of ownership and determination to get things done
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn and grow

Responsibilities:
PURPOSE OF YOUR ROLE
You will play a critical role on our marketing team to drive growth, with a focus on the optimisation of the entire customer journey, to ensure our marketing activity drives our customer and commercial targets.
You will be pivotal in turning OFX’s client & behavioural data into insightful and actionable information, and ensure this information is acted upon by communicating effectively and proactively with stakeholders.
This is an ideal opportunity for an Analyst with an FP&A background looking to transition into a marketing function where you will influence commercial decisions. As a bridge between the worlds of finance and marketing, your passion for providing insights and consulting the business will see you dig deep into data sets in order to effectively story tell, providing ‘why, how and clear recommendation of ‘what’s next’.
WHAT YOU DO
- Identify opportunities to drive market share, profitability, growth, channel strategy and customer engagement through marketing and customer insights
- Provide a portfolio view and regular reporting of customer and marketing metrics to drive visibility of key marketing performance indicators as well as actual performance to target
- Work with key stakeholders in the marketing team to size opportunities and support in the development of business cases, including modelling the outcomes and developing the full P&L – this includes marketing, customer engagement, product, UX, digital, website, CRM and data science teams
- Work closely with the Finance team to business case marketing initiatives and impact of incremental investment
- Assist the CMO with board reporting
- Continue to refine and expand our channel strategy across all mediums: SEO, SEM, display, social, PR, content, email.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on KPIs to ensure marketing initiatives are driving profitable short-term and long-term results
- Understand and validate that ‘data source-to-report’ is reliable, understandable and consumable
- Develop a program of continuous improvement through structured and measurable experimentation – insight-to-productionisation, including segmentation, data modeling and predictive analysis
- Use web analytics and business intelligence tools such as Google Analytics or Data Studio to develop dashboards that understands our customers and exploit those insights in campaigns
- Ensure customer data is strictly used in accordance with OFX’s legal and regulatory requirements in the markets it operates in
- Think strategically, analytically and creatively about new ways to reach customers and increase relevance
- Provide pre and post campaign analysis to determine opportunities or realise uplifts.
