About the Team:
Join a well-developed team of Early Careers professionals divided into 3 sub-teams each with direct reports to deliver against Sky’s Early Careers recruitment objectives. This team works seamlessly with the client Early Careers team to create one larger all-encompassing Early Careers team that looks after the design, marketing, selection and on-programme elements of the Early Careers cohort lifecycle.
About this role:
This role will focus on owning, developing and driving innovative marketing and attraction campaigns to raise awareness of the Sky brand and continue to meet diversity objectives and develop talent pipelines for each Early Careers programme. These include graduate, internship, apprenticeship and fixed term placement opportunities.
The Marketing and Attraction Manager will manage a team of 4 (1 x Content Lead, 1 x Campaign Lead, and 2 x Attraction Coordinators).

Key Metrics:

  • Minimum insight event NPS score of 7 out of 10
  • Quarterly industry market intelligence sharing
  • Minimum score of 3 for team member Quarterly Reviews
  • Minimum 70% of candidates to be sourced through attraction channels
  • Hit diversity targets as set out in overall client-supplier KPIs

Outcomes

The Early Careers Attraction activity is aligned with the client’s corporate goals.

  • Deliver attraction strategies to target candidates.
  • Develop appropriate messaging to support the engagement of candidates to apply.
  • Deliver engagement in a number of ways such as through job board usage, hosting insight activities, releasing publications and more (as appropriate).

The Early Careers brand and messaging is effectively delivered.

  • Collaborate with the client’s in-house Employer Brand team and external creative agency to deploy the Early Careers brand and messaging.
  • Ensure attraction campaigns build and leverage the client’s employer brand across all attraction channels.
  • Ensure high quality talent pipelines across the respective programme stream.
  • Gain positive feedback from the client on use of their branding in built campaigns, met by adherence with Sky’s visual identity and brand guidelines.

Campaigns are successfully planned and delivered.

  • Launch each campaign season, taking ownership of actions required, meeting deadlines and responding to feedback.
  • Close attraction campaigns consistent with or earlier than the previous season, met via regular review of pipelines alongside programme managers in Graduate and Apprentice areas, and work with external parties to generate candidate interest in struggling pipelines (e.g. geographical areas, business areas for example Technology, Data etc.)
  • Continue to build strong diversity statistics across the campaign season, with adherence to Sky’s 20% BME and 5% Black Heritage hires target by 2025 via close work with our diversity partnerships and targeted social media activity.
  • Gain positive response from the client stakeholders regarding launched campaigns.

    Strong relationships are built and maintained.

  • Build trust with the client, partnership organisations and existing delivery team members via weekly meetings and ownership of key project and task deliverables.

  • Build positive and collaborative relationships with Selection Managers, working together to achieve client delivery goals by maintaining open and clear communications and attending recurring meetings etc.

Work Experience, Knowledge & Skills

  • Proven marketing campaign ownership experience within the Early Careers space
  • Previous people/ team management experience
  • Experience working in RPO client teams
  • Experience activating and managing multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Knowledge of activating new branding
  • Experience working with creative agencies is desirable
  • Some experience managing social media content is desirable

Other Information

  • 12 month fixed term contract role 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 9.00 – 5.30pm
  • 3 month probationary period
