JOB DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will be supporting the delivery of brand campaigns in both English and French, across all channels. They will work in collaboration with the Managers of the different advertising/sponsorship/brand campaigns, as well as various internal stakeholders and external partners, to support the planning, development and executional excellence of the Sun Life and Sun Life Global Investments story to advisors and Canadians.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Marketing Communications Consultant to join the Sun Life team and provide processes and accuracy to the delivery of multiple campaigns. They will collaborate directly with our brand marketing managers in all stages of campaigns. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to provide support at different levels of the campaign’s execution, from coordinating between various groups across the organization, interfacing with external partners to ensure the delivery of campaign creative is on time and on budget. They will also need to coordinate numerous groups across the organization to have the information they require for stakeholder alignment. This position plays a fundamental role as the owner will consolidate all forms of feedback and ensures it makes it to the right partners for campaign delivery.

• Support the creation, delivery and execution of Sun Life and Sun Life Global Investments brand campaigns, aligned with the overall brand strategy.
• Coordinate the overall project management of each campaign, ensuring accountabilities and stakeholder alignment is communicated.
• Support the manager in the development of brand marketing plans, campaigns, and messaging. Establishing metrics and evaluation methods to measure the success of each campaign.
• Ensure all aspects of delivery are tracked. Executing strategic tasks and monitoring outcomes.
• Manage partnerships by collaborating with partners and internal creative production team for full funnel creative presentations.
• Maintain and manage timelines and budgets and be active in weekly/monthly project status reviews.
• Provide support for post-campaign reporting, preparing reports and marketing presentations for different stakeholders.
• Assist on initiatives by collaborating with colleagues across the business to ensure a consistent brand voice and presentation.
• Producing the necessary marketing materials that maintain strict adherence to regulatory guidelines.
• Work closely with agencies and in-house teams to optimize media buying efforts.
• Produce videos and lead the creation tasks including editing, trimming, and reviewing video footage prior to publishing.
• Maintain, build, and develop channel forecasts and budget recommendations.
