Description:
12-MONTH PARENTAL LEAVE CONTRACT
We are looking for a social media and communications superstar who will be responsible for the day to day running of RAC Arena’s social channels and website.
From finding opportunities to promote the venue, its partners and events through fun and engaging content and campaigns to supporting the Marketing Manager in the development and implementation of the venue’s marketing, communications, and advertising plans and strategies. General Responsibilities include:
- Managing and monitoring of the venue’s social media channels
- Creating and executing digital campaigns within budget to help promote the Arena’s products and services
- Tracking and reporting on all online activity to measure performance and inform future decisions
- Day to day maintenance of the venue’s website ensuring content is always current and accurate
- Assisting in the planning, coordination, and implementation of the venue’s internal and external communication plans
- Create, proofread, and edit copy for various venue documents, ensuring consistent voice and brand
About You
Required Skills and Experience
- One to two years’ experience in a marketing, communications, public relations, or similar role
- Ability to manage work and time effectively to respond to demands in a dynamic work environment
- Experience using all major digital and social platforms as an effective communication channel
- Knowledge and experience in delivering effective marketing strategies showing a familiarity with tools such as Google Adwords and Facebook Ads Manager
- An empathetic storyteller with a proven capacity in content creation, copywriting and editing flexibility to work in line with our event schedule including weekends, evenings, and public holidays
- To be eligible for employment you must be an Australian Citizen or a permanent resident of Australia or hold an appropriate visa that allows you to work unrestricted in Australia.
