Your accountabilities will include:

  • Support our Business and Industry Growth team to support and upskill industry to create local jobs
  • Support awareness and revenue generation for the Stretton Centre and Civic Venues
  • Promote and market shows at the iconic Shedley Theatre to maximise attendance and community engagement
  • Develop creative content and copy creation, design, digital, platform management, that aligns with our brand
  • Work within local community and industry partnerships to develop campaigns
  • Leverage existing and new partnership opportunitie

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE: MARKETING AND COMMUNICATION PARTNER

We are seeking an energetic team member with a ‘can do’ attitude who will play a key role in planning, delivering, monitoring and reporting of the Stretton Centre and Civic Venues team marketing strategies. Our programs focus on increasing awareness, driving revenue, maximising space to achieve budget targets and developing creative business stories to engage the community.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

You will shape and implement communication strategies that enhance engagement, align with organisational objectives and strengthen our corporate culture. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create a unified and transparent communication approach that empowers employees at all levels.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

The successful applicant will be tertiary qualified in a related field such as Marketing or Communications or have demonstrated extensive equivalent experience.

In addition, you will have:

  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex briefs into engaging campaigns that resonate with the community
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering effective marketing plans, campaigns, strategies, and programs
  • Ability to write engaging articles and media releases
  • Excellent understanding and demonstrated ability of using marketing tools and techniques, effectively including leveraging events, to increase the visibility, profile, and reputation of an organisation
  • Experience managing the application of visual brands across all customer touchpoints
  • Proven experience in driving brand impact and influence
  • Excellent project management skills and demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects on time and to budget expectations
  • Experience in preparing engaging written word for a variety of media formats

Incumbents in this position may be required to possess or be willing to gain a National Criminal History Clearance or DCSI Clearance
