JOB DESCRIPTION
The Marketing and Content Specialist plays a crucial role in our marketing team, focusing on email marketing, content creation, social media management, and analytics. This role requires a data-driven approach to create engaging content and campaigns that resonate with our audience, drive conversions, and enhance our brand presence.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years experience in marketing, content creation, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of marketing strategies, content development, and digital analytics.
- Excellent communication and copywriting skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:
Email Marketing:
- Develop and execute email marketing strategies, including newsletters, promotional campaigns, and transactional emails.
- Analyze campaign performance, identifying the most effective messages based on relevance, conversion rates, and other key metrics.
- Collaborate with the team to refine email content and design, ensuring alignment with our brand’s voice and strategy.
- Manage email lists and segmentation to tailor campaigns to different audience segments.
- Coordinate with the Marketing Manager (Nikki) for final approval before launching any email campaign.
Content Creation and Strategy:
- Generate compelling content for various platforms, including email, social media, blogs, and landing pages.
- Develop and maintain a content calendar, ensuring a consistent and relevant content flow.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform content strategy and creation.
- Engage in community management activities, fostering a positive brand image.
- Create and manage Google Business Listings, ensuring accurate and appealing presentation.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Regularly review and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and content, utilizing analytics to derive actionable insights.
- Monitor and update performance metrics for email campaigns, social media engagement, and website traffic.
- Assist in the analysis of campaign data to improve future marketing strategies and content development.
Social Media and Community Management:
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule across social platforms, aligning content with overall marketing strategies.
- Utilize email content to enhance organic social media engagement.
- Oversee community management tasks, ensuring active and positive engagement with our audience.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Manage and update marketing materials and campaigns seasonally or as needed.
- Coordinate with internal teams for prize distribution and logistics for marketing promotions.
- Take initiative in identifying and executing new marketing opportunities and strategies.
- Assist in various one-off projects such as press releases, special blogs, etc., as needed.
