Description:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of a post-secondary degree in Communications, Journalism or Marketing and a minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience in marketing and digital communications
  • Experience in the creation of blog posts, social media content and newsletters. Experience in producing social video content and annual reports is an asset
  • Experience with event management systems (ideally CVENT)
  • Excellent written communication skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage detailed work
  • Strong B2B/partnership building experience
  • Strong understanding and experience with social media content creation and social media ads on platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Experience with Meta Ads Manager and LinkedIn Campaign Manager is an asset.
  • Experience with digital platforms including WordPress, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, and Mailchimp
  • Ability to research and conduct data gathering and gap analysis on existing communication strategies
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and with multi-disciplinary teams
  • An understanding of best practices in mental health. Knowledge of clinical applications in mental health services, adult learning and continuing education is an asset
  • Effectively able to work under pressure and manage change in a fast-paced environment
  • Initiative-driven and proactive work style; able to work with limited supervision in a remote work setting
  • Highly motivated and passionate about mental health
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including SharePoint, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Proficiency in design and content creation platforms such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) and Canva
  • Experience in a charitable or non-profit environment, with a focus on mental health is an asset
  • Satisfactory current Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check

As a result, we are adopting all prevention measures to ensure the safety of our clients, families and our staff. Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with internal and external contacts in the design, writing, editing, and distribution of marketing materials for the SickKids CCMH LI website, social media channels, newsletter, reports, presentations, and other forms of communication (i.e., videos) to promote programming and increase sales
  • Develop and maintain communication tactics to support and promote the engagement of mental health professionals
  • Write impactful and high-quality social media, website and newsletter content. Regularly update content for maximum optimization and search engine rankings
  • Create print, photos and videos that tells our story across our social media channels, website and newsletters
  • Develop and execute the social media content and newsletter schedule to nurture and engage the SickKids CCMH LI audience and stakeholders
  • Develop and manage digital campaigns to ensure ongoing promotion of SickKids CCMH LI offerings, including promotional sales
  • Evaluate, assess, monitor, and measure the impact of performance and effectiveness of marketing tactics (website, social media, newsletters, and etc.)
  • Collect and analyze data on customer and web behavioural data
  • Source and maintain mailing lists from appropriate organizations to broaden reach of email campaigns
  • Conduct ongoing research to identify new markets, trends, customer needs, and competitors
  • Conduct ongoing competitive analysis
  • Develop expertise on the customer, the industry trends, and the players in the market
  • Identify new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain successful relationships with partner associations, prospects and existing clients
