Marketing and Events Planner

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Investigate, evaluate, and coordinate all community outreach and sponsorship opportunities and attend events, as well as gain recognition for them in the media.
• Represent the Credit Union in the community and enhance our brand image at all times.
• Partner with Digital Strategist and Designer to develop Press Releases and Social Media Posts to garner earned media for significant events.
• Manage the CRM program and oversee all member email communications, evaluate success, and develop new strategies to utilize this channel.
• Manage the Credit Union’s promotional merchandise.
• Participate in the Credit Union’s charitable giving initiatives.
• Act as a liaison to the retail branches and work closely with Branch Managers to execute in-branch marketing activities.
• Manage the relationship with the Retail Services and Lending teams to utilize data to improve member outreach.
• Manage multiple member and internal events.
• Provide operational support in all marketing areas and provide accurate, professional, and timely support within budget guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Three to five years of similar or related experience.
• A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required.
• Dedication to teamwork and building a strong relationship with co-workers.
• Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to the Credit Union’s Service Promises is required.
