POSITION SUMMARY

Directly responsible for coordinating and facilitating all marketing projects including email newsletters (EDM), vendor advertising, social media, warehouse and online promotions, magazine collateral as well as marketing and media event coordination. Strong collaboration and co-ordination with Buying, Membership, e-Commerce, Warehouse Operations and external stakeholders to ensure the execution of all projects, from start to completion. This includes, but not limited to maintaining and adhering to budgets, deadlines, proofs and follow-up reports. Candidates must be detailed oriented and well organised, with the ability to multi-task, and be able to work well in a high pressure environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the implementation and organisation of the marketing strategy and calendar.
  • Aiding the team in the execution of all marketing communication including social media, website and warehouse promotions, EDMs, warehouse opening events, magazines and catalogues.
  • Organise and maintain deadlines, communications, reports and procedures in-line with company procedures and standards, in-conjunction with the Buying team.
  • Coordinate information exchanges between buyers, warehouse staff and e-Commerce team.
  • Update and maintain email database and EDM deployment.
  • Manage advertising placements, from planning to reconciliation and reporting on sales uplift
  • Participate in the creative development of marketing collateral material.
  • Facilitate and conduct research on marketing trends, contact lists, pricing and competitor analysis
  • Understand the competitive marketplace on key items & departments.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of all marketing projects and vendor advertising, including but not limited to filing and archiving.
  • Assist in other areas of department and company as needed.
  • Flexible team player able to multi-task and adapt quickly to changing priorities while working independently.
