Description:

The Marketing Associate will assist the marketing team in supporting the firm’s communications efforts. The Marketing Associate will have a dynamic role, engaging in and contributing to a wide range of communications activities. This individual will have the opportunity to interact with investment professionals within various departments of the firm. This person will ensure projects are completed within stringent deadlines, and with accurate, high quality information.
This position reports to the Director of Communication and Product Development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications or a related field
  • Three to five years of related experience
  • Experience with graphic design, PR, social media, website design and content creation and delivery within a marketing department
  • Self-directed and motivated
  • Highly organized
  • Strong attention to detail with proof reading experience
  • Commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced, deadline driven environment, demonstrating flexibility, project management, organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Solid experience in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Hubspot, Mailchimp, WordPress, LinkedIn
  • Preference for investment knowledge

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the content creation process, which includes the development and production of graphics, animations, static images and collaboration on copy
  • Partner with the Communications team to build out design elements for projects from start to finish
  • Provide the day-to-day maintenance of the firm’s websites (writing web content, updating the website with new information, and creating new webpages to support additional content).
  • Create the channels to share the firm’s thought leadership externally with clients, prospective clients and the marketplace; developing and maintaining the firm’s social media strategy to further build brand awareness. Draft LinkedIn posts and other communications content to support firm messaging and content in pursuit of acquiring more followers.
  • Contribute to messaging and review of firm’s client newsletters, webinars and other content pieces.
  • Work collaboratively to complete and distribute thought leadership.
  • Assist with various Marketing Department initiatives.
