REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• 2-3 years of experience working in a similar CRM or Marketing Automation role in a retail environment or similar
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
• Experience within Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other similar marketing automation platforms
• Strong understanding of marketing automation principles, loyalty, best practices, and technologies
• Base knowledge with HTML/CSS, SQL and AMPscript
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, derive insights, and make data-driven decisions to improve campaign performance
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced retail environment
• Intermediate Microsoft skills
• Ability to build relationships & work collaboratively with suppliers and peers
• Ability to work autonomously

ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing Automation Specialist to join our Digital team. As a Marketing Automation Specialist, you will play a key role in driving our marketing efforts through the effective use of marketing automation. You will be part of a centralised Marketing Automation and CRM team, responsible for creating, executing, and optimising multi-channel marketing campaigns, utilising automation to enhance customer engagement, drive sales across our iconic retail brands such as Just Jeans, Dotti, Portmans, Jay Jays, Peter Alexander, Smiggle and Jacqui E.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute campaigns using marketing automation
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand campaign objectives, target audience segments, and product promotions
• Create customer journeys, automated workflows, and personalised messaging to encourage repeat purchases and enhance customer loyalty
• Configure and maintain marketing automation tools, ensuring data accuracy, segmentation, and campaign tracking
• Monitor campaign performance metrics, analyse results, and provide actionable insights to optimise campaign effectiveness and maximize ROI
• Implement A/B testing strategies to optimise email subject lines, content, promotions, and CTAs for increased engagement and conversion rates
• Stay informed about retail industry trends, consumer behaviour, and emerging technologies to enhance marketing automation strategies and tactics
• Develop documentation, training materials, and best practices guides to facilitate internal user adoption and proficiency
