JOB DESCRIPTION

Do you have what it takes to set strategic direction, and do you get excited about driving business impact through customer centric campaigns, events, and data driven marketing? Then you might be the person we are looking for. We’re searching for a strong marketing communications profile to lead our marketing communications initiatives for Danfoss Climate Solutions and Food Hotspot business in Asia Pacific.
You will join our Asia Pacific team with 8 team members located across multiple locations in the region. You will be part of the Asia Pacific MarCom leadership team reporting to the Head of Marketing & Branding, Asia Pacific and with dotted line to the regional Head of Sales and the Global Head of Marketing Communications in Climate Solutions.
As a Marketing Communications Manager you will lead and set direction for our Climate Solutions MarCom and Food Hotspot strategy and execution. This role has no formal direct reports, but a key scope of the job will be coaching, influencing, setting direction, and executing through others. Collaboration and communication are key competences as you navigate in our matrix organization.
You have experience navigating in a matrix organization and you have a proven track record of successfully empowering and enabling teams. You establish trust and integrity and know that diversity, change readiness, and collaboration will help us drive better results.

BACKGROUND & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Communications, Business, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years in marketing communications role in B2B marketing or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in partner marketing and campaign/project management with measurable results.
  • Strong grasp of digital and traditional marketing communication integration and market trends.
  • Data driven mindset, knowing how to translate data into concrete actions and communicate on project impact.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Ability to work with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is an added advantage.
  • High degree of flexibility and sense of urgency.
  • Establishes engagement built on trust and teamwork.
  • Driven by challenging the status quo, embraces change, and creating results. And can inspire and influence with a clear vision.
  • Self-motivated and not afraid to challenge when needed.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Through customer and channel understanding, translating regional growth plan into a MarCom strategy and execution in alignment with regional and global priorities. You will drive our digital agenda forward to support sales growth.
  • Dotted line management supporting competence development.
  • Be the strategic partner to sales, take an active role in the regional leadership team, and contribute actively to the overall strategy.
  • Deliver omni-channel marketing campaigns and events.
  • Drive lead generating activities in close cooperation with sales and the MarCom team
  • Set direction for an improved positioning of our brand with our partners.
  • Oversee the complete end-to-end go-to-market strategy for new product launches.
  • Drive with data - track, measure, and evaluate to assess campaign effectiveness and proactively communicate business impact internally.
  • Own, allocate, and monitor the regional MarCom budget.
