Our renowned healthcare client is looking for Marketing Communications Specialist with a healthcare background.
This role will be based in Houston and 40-hours a week. This role does require being onsite Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. Remote days are Monday and Wednesday.
The pay rate is $38-$45/hr.
This person will be responsible for handling the awards and company recognition communication. This person must have industry knowledge about healthcare publications, lists, and awards that they have submitted content to.

Other responsibilities include:

• Build out awards calendar
• Handling budget for submissions
• Communicate and gather assets to submit for award/list from leadership and internal teams
• Work cross functionally with content, PR, and marketing teams
• Research and provide insights to key stockholders for new opportunities for company recognition
• Write content for submissions

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years in the healthcare and marketing/PR/Communication space
• Writing samples of awards/company recognition content
• Excellent project management skills
