We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Communications Coordinator to join the Brand & Marketing team Full Time on a 12-month secondment.
About the role :
The Brand and Marketing team contributes to the delivery of the strategic goals of People First Bank by bringing to life our brand campaigns, sponsorships, community initiatives and communication strategies.
As the Marketing Communications Coordinator you’ll be responsible for supporting the Communications Hub to deliver on the direct marketing and member journeys program of work. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing communications strategies in relation to projects, products, services, compliance and member education. This includes the development of copy, liaising with our external marketing suppliers or internal teams, overseeing implementation through to delivery and reporting on success.
Desired Knowledge & Experience:
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Media and/or Communications (optional)
- Post graduate experience in a content creation or communications role
- Effective communication, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Exceptional writing skills required for crafting compelling and articulate content.
- Digitally savvy, with an ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
- Basic HTML skills and an understanding of basic database concepts.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment.
- Superior planning, organisational and workload management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail
Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Contribute to the delivery of direct marketing and journeys program of work in conjunction with the Communications Hub Lead and broader Communications Hub Team, including the creation, execution and optimisation of marketing lifecycle strategies and campaigns.
- Effectively work with internal business stakeholders to ensure member communications are developed and delivered on time to meet business needs, and with consideration for all member impacts and appropriate channels.
- Support the internal remediation and compliance teams to communicate with our members when necessary.
- Write briefs for and be the key liaison between Heritage and People’s Choice and key external direct marketing suppliers.
- Utilise direct marketing platforms to build templates for eDM that adhere to best practice standards and brand guidelines.
