Responsibilities:

As Marketing & Communications Manager you are responsible for the strategy, planning and execution of all marketing and communication areas with the goal of making PlasticFri a world known global player. You will work with all brand, marketing and social media channels and activities as well as external communications and PR activities. You will manage and build upon our current marketing team. The role is both very strategic and hands-on operational and will involve setting strategic priorities, executing on plan, coaching team members and collaborating with all other teams at PlasticFri. As a member of the management team you are key in shaping the strategy and building our company and making sure we deliver on our mission. Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Develop and execute marketing strategy and plans, define target audiences and set marketing goals and metrics
  • Design and execute on marketing campaigns across all channels including digital and print and to increase brand awareness and sales
  • Manage the brand positioning, brand strategy, build a brand toolbox and ensure brand awareness and consistency across all platforms and that all communications reflect PlasticFri’s brand values and messaging
  • Manage public relations and PlasticFri’s public image and define PR strategy and plan and handle all activities, media relations and press releases
  • Proactively follow industry and market trends and conduct research when needed to identity and understand trends, consumer behaviour and innovations
  • Forecast and manage the marketing and communications budget and allocate resources effectively
  • Track, analyze and report on all data analytics to measure results of all activities and take action when needed
  • Identify innovative ways of working and partner opportunities to scale marketing activities
  • Manage team and identify and hire new talent, set objectives and coach team into a high performing tea

In order to succeed in the role, we believe that you have:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience within marketing working with a global brand
  • Proven ability to develop comprehensive marketing and communication strategies that drive business growth and brand awareness with excellent results
  • Skills and experience in maintaining and evolving a brand’s identity and plan
  • Experience from working with communications and public relations, having managed media relations, press campaigns and releases
  • Great knowledge about different Social Media channels including Linkedin, Instagram, TikTok
  • Some proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with design tools like Canva or Sketch.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team with high engagement, setting strategic direction and aligning marketing efforts with overall business goals
  • Excellent project management skills with strong organizational and time management and prioritization skills to ensure successful outcomes and a track record of delivering results on marketing campaigns
  • Ability to manage budgets effectively, allocate resources efficiently, and analyze data to measure the impact of marketing efforts.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to craft compelling messaging, engage diverse audiences, and convey the brand’s story effectively.
  • Ability to work well in fast paced and changing environments and handle pressure
  • Fluent speaking and writing skills in English and Swedis
