About the Role:
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the delivery and execution of the marketing strategy to help establish The Botanist as the leading cannabis company, and to attract and retain new customers.
Work in close collaboration with Acreage Holdings marketing team to develop” on-brand” strategy and action plan and act as a liaison with dispensary operations. This role collaborates with state marketing teams, sales, product, operations, technology and finance as well as our agency and design partners to drive growth for our product and retail brands. How you’ll make a difference (required duties and responsibilities):
- Develop social media content to help accelerate our reputation state-wide and build a loyal following
- Oversee implementation of local communications strategy - for campaigns, events, product launches and digital marketing - for both internal and external audiences
- Organize & attend off-site activities as needed, such as, cannabis trade shows and competitions
- Work with Acreage Marketing team and dispensary team to create compelling marketing campaigns and events to help establish The Botanist as the leading cannabis company.
- Responsible for marketing project management including budgeting, expense tracking and reporting, and tracking key performance indicators for marketing initiatives.
- Manage production of online and offline local marketing assets, graphic design, audio / video production, sales tools, collateral, ads and web site updates from initial concept to finished product.
- Analyze products, services offerings and approach of key competitors; leverage the insights gained to communicate key points of differentiation for products and services to our dispensary customers /partners.
- Act as a brand steward, upholding brand and trademark standards and consistency across all marketing projects and communication vehicles.
- Owns key brand toolkit projects including Digital Asset Management and Branded Goods Catalogs to enable local teams to efficiently and consistently deploy brand campaigns across markets;
- Assist HR in local job fair, employment marketing and employee engagement activities
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
- Maintain compliance with all State Regulations and company policies and procedures
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Management or related field (or equivalent in experience)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to travel to multiple locations within IL as necessary; must have reliable transportation
