About the job
The Customer, Marketing & Communications (CMC) is responsible for both bringing the customer to life for Bankwest and for bringing Bankwest to life for customers, ensuring all our audiences (colleagues, customers, the community, partners, stakeholders and the local government) understand who Bankwest is.
This Marketing Coordinator role will provide support to the Marketing and Communications Community Team, who are focussed on delivering marketing and communications activity to engage and support customers and to positively impact the broader community.
Your Team
The Marketing Communications team, a part of CMC, combines marketing, campaign management, broker engagement, community support and customer communications.
We are responsible for translating the brand and customer strategy into marketing activity with a focus on building compelling propositions and cohesive customer communications programmes - integrated across paid and owned touchpoints.
We want to attract and retain customers through our marketing communications initiatives and deliver outcomes geared towards our ambitious business goals.
Your impact & contribution
- Support the Marketing & Communications Lead and Marketing Manager in the development and implementation of a marketing strategy in line with brand, product and customer considerations.
- Work with other teams within Customer Marketing and Communications to drive key outcomes.
- Work with our social media team and internal communications to share the work we do within the community.
- Support the development and delivery of key assets and outputs for prioritised marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Source compelling performance insights across marketing, business and customer experience data, and assist in the preparation of marketing presentations for socialisation with senior stakeholders.
- Coordinate activations and/or events – developing and delivering customer communications, event registration and reminders and working with both internal and external suppliers (sometimes outside of standard business hours).
- Develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders for the delivery of materials and assets.
- Process invoices in a timely manner to ensure effective management and adherence to budget.
Your skills & experience
- Experience in a Marketing role or in a similar capacity
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Desire and passion for delivering exceptional customer events
- Ability to learn and understand multiple processes and procedures associated with the role
- Intermediate MS Office Suite skills, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to review reporting and data to gain insight and be curious into how processes/activations could be improved.
- Amazing collaborator and excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to absorb information and take action/seek guidance.
- Excellent planning skills and the ability to work on a number of projects at the same time.
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing is desirable but not essential.
