As Marketing Coordinator at Diversified, you will play a key role in assisting the execution of the annual marketing plan for the relevant event(s). This Coordinator position provides a strong development opportunity for outstanding talent to further grow their core marketing skills and capabilities. Working closely with the Marketing Manager (MM), this role is a key influence in terms of the commercial success and visitor number performance for the relevant event(s).

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Plan, write, create and schedule social media content for your respective event(s), ensuring brand voice and content pillars are adhered to
  • Assist with briefing digital marketing agencies and suppliers on paid digital campaigns
  • End-to-end management of email campaigns to encourage registrations and ticket sales as well as exhibitor stand and sponsorship sales – this includes data management, as directed by MM
  • Coordinate with media partners to ensure timely delivery of deliverables such as copy, adverts and banner creatives
  • Brief design agencies on creative elements required for the event, including but not limited to digital banners, brochures, social media tiles, email banners, general marketing collateral
  • Create design assets (social tiles, web banners, signage etc.) where required in Canva
  • Brief videographers on creating required promotional videos
  • Take ownership and ensure websites and other digital channels are up to date at all times
  • Manage the execution of marketing related sponsorship deliverables
  • Assist with data building projects in conjunction with MM
  • Contribute to post event reporting
  • Assist MM with content ideas and briefing PR agencies where applicable
  • Any other duties as directed by the MM

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • A relevant business/marketing qualification
  • Outstanding personal drive
  • High communication skills – written and verbal
  • Good understanding of brands, and the role of strategy
  • High attention to detail with strong capabilities in terms of prioritising work and meeting deadlines
  • Must be able to work on multiple initiatives / projects
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
  • Skills and knowledge of MS Office (Microsoft Publisher, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to report on individual campaign aspects on an ongoing basis
  • Good customer service and support standards
  • Preferred experience with website CMS and email marketing systems
