JOB SUMMARY

The Marketing Coordinator works as part of the MarCom team to grow awareness, generate interest and improve engagement with prospective clients and the higher education market. The marketing coordinator is responsible for the successful execution of digital marketing, content marketing, and conferences and events. Strong written communication skills are essential for the development of exceptional original content for the website, corporate blog and social media. This team-focused individual works closely with others, both inside and outside the company, to deliver content and marketing that positions the company as a higher education and marketing thought leader. Strong organization and project management skills are essential for the management of multiple projects and programs, which are ongoing at any given time.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Preference given to Marketing, Advertising or related field of study

EXPERIENCE

  • 1+ years demonstrated experience
  • Exceptional written communication skills
  • Strong organization and project management skills
  • Ability to lead self-directed projects, work independently and within collaborative teams
  • Desire to collaborate with team members and work within a dynamic multi-functional team environment
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools like Canva, Visme, or similar
  • Experience in executing email marketing campaigns and maintaining good target list hygiene
  • Eagerness to learn new platforms, master a modern mar-tech stack and leverage marketing best practices as they evolve
  • Familiarity with social media platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter) and TikTok
  • Demonstrated experience promoting and executing marketing events like webinars and in-person conferences
  • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and analytics tools like Google Ads, LinkedIn Marketing, Facebook, Google Analytics, etc. is a plus
  • Experience updating and managing website content, including working in platforms like WordPress is a plus

Responsibilities:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Assist with the execution of marketing campaigns and marketing content that contributes to the B2B lead generation and nurturing. You will be given the opportunity to leverage the latest best-in-class marketing tools including marketing automation platforms, website CMS, social and digital media platforms to help grow the company brand and positioning in the higher education market.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of a content publishing calendar, including planning and execution of corporate blog posts, webinars, monthly newsletters, and other marketing collateral. Ensure the timely delivery of content from internal experts and industry thought leaders.
  • Collaborate on the development and execution of the social media calendar, including curating and scheduling social media content across various platforms, ensuring consistent branding, messaging, and timely posts. Additionally, actively engage with and foster community interaction across various social media channels.
  • Coordinate with other members of the team on the development of visual marketing elements, including landing pages, infographics, email graphics, ads and downloadable marketing assets.
  • Plan, promote and deliver virtual and in-person events, including webinars, virtual conferences and in-person conferences.
  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of company-sponsored industry conferences, including promotion of the event, handling shipment logistics for material and equipment, coordinating conference presentations, and management of attendee registration processes and tools.
  • Engage in market and competitor analysis to monitor top, emerging and future competitors. Report on competitor positioning, offerings, engagement and marketing efforts.
  • Produce reporting that effectively communicates the associated marketing efforts.
