DESCRIPTION
This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with experienced marketers and gain hands-on experience in various areas within a marketing environment. As our Marketing Coordinator, you will be exposed to teams across the marketing, communication, creative, education and other business functions. As one of the team’s go-to players, you will play a hands-on role in marketing day-to-day activities including administrative needs to support marketing campaigns, updating reports, and compiling metrics.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERTISE
- Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a post-secondary program in marketing, events or related discipline, or recent graduate, plus previous experience in an event experience considered an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organization, motivation and project management skills
- Strong proficiency with MS Office tools
- Great multitasking skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and take ownership for timely and accurate completion of work
- The ability to work independently or part as of a team
- A desire to learn and adapt to new processes
- A positive and energetic personality

Responsibilities:
- Assist with marketing and event coordination duties from inception to completion of online and in-person events, which includes maintaining events calendar for internal and external audiences, and assisting in identifying required marketing assets to support events.
- Serve as a liaison to coordinate with internal event administrative support to execute deliverables such as registration, marketing material, shipping, packing, etc.
- Assist in the collection of event feedback, post-mortem analysis, and key learning reports to stakeholders.
- Support the Digital Marketing Specialist in executing targeted event campaigns to drive attendance and engagement.
- Assist team members in compiling metrics and results and updating respective marketing plans.
- Help coordinate and complete multiple cross-functional concurring projects with a focus on attention to detail and delivering on timelines.
- Transcribing and sharing summary of actions/outcomings from team meetings to team members.
- Perform a range of special projects, tasks and other related duties as assigned.
