Description:

Lighthouse Labs is looking to welcome a Marketing Coordinator to help scale our next stage of growth as we continue to look for new and exciting ways to attract the appropriate audiences for our products and services. You will collaboratively work both with the marketing team and cross-functionally, to deliver on key initiatives and campaigns using various research, social media, copywriting, event tracking, and lead generation platforms. This role requires someone who is interested in working in a generalist capacity, in a fast-paced environment, to deliver on a variety of marketing programs and initiatives to a variety of audiences. Successful applicants must demonstrate the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities at any given time.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing, or related field
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience
  • Interest in tech education including coding, cybersecurity or data is an asset
  • Experience with email marketing best practices; ESP experience (ex. Mailchimp. Klaviyo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud etc..) is an asset
  • Experience with coordination of website development needs; Wordpress experience is considered an asset.
  • Digital advertising experience
  • Experience creating content (video, photos, GIFs, memes, reels, stories) for social media channels
  • Experience working with social media management platform (eg. Later, Hootsuite,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication is required
  • Experience working with Google Workspace (G Suite) including Google Docs, Sheet, Slides
  • Experience with analytics and market research, best practices.
  • Experience working with graphic creation tools (eg.: Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Adobe Spark)
  • Experience working with Project Management tools (Jira, Asana, Monday, etc.) also considered an asset

Responsibilities:

  • Support and implement ad hoc requirements for marketing projects and initiatives
  • Assist with the planning, creation, and execution of digital advertising campaigns
  • Assist with the planning and activation of events and info sessions
  • Leverage analytics tools to evaluate and report on campaign performance
  • Support with demand generation and the acquisition of quality leads for our programs
  • Assist with the creation and optimization of various email marketing and social media campaigns, including but not limited to content creation, scheduling, planning, reporting and engagement or community management
  • Research and recommendations of new channels to reach our desired audiences
  • Support with 1st , 2nd and 3rd party data and market research, including interviewing our students and grads, ongoing as well as summarizing, positioning and sharing of insights
  • Minor copywriting responsibilities and tasks to assist with content marketing and ongoing maintenance of our marketing assets
  • Website maintenance support; Help to coordinate website updates ongoing
  • Other duties as required
