The Company
Our client in the entertainment industry is based in Markham, Ontario. They are looking for a Marketing Coordinator for a 6 month initial contract, with opportunities for extension. This is a hybrid position, the Marketing Coordinator will be working in office a minimum of 2 days per week.
The Position
The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for executing on digital marketing campaigns including, but not limited to social media content creation, website design/updates, and email newsletter campaigns.

Write copy and design content for social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
Responsible for continuously monitoring and updating the companies social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
Review, evaluate, and report on campaign analytics and monitor results
Manage the content library; ensure creative assets are organized accordingly
Other adhoc marketing and administrative tasks as required
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
3+ years of experience in content creation, digital marketing, or a similar role
Experience with graphic design (ie. static ads, short video edits, etc.) is an asset
Prior experience working on the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and/or Canva
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team
Creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Possesses excellent digital and design marketing understanding, online research capabilities and experience with marketing systems
