Description:

JOB SUMMARY

The marketing coordinator is responsible for assisting the marketing team in the development and execution of various projects. They act as support for members of the marketing team and other departments.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE/ CERTIFICATION

  • College degree in marketing or communication, or relevant experience (DEC)
  • At least one to two years of experience in marketing and/or communications,
  • Project management experience (an asset).

KNOWLEDGE

  • Excellent skills in communicating well in French and English, both orally and in writing, as the position requires interaction with clients and suppliers located outside the province and country;
  • Spanish is a linguistic asset;
  • Knowledge of the automotive or telematics industry (an asset).

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

  • Demonstrated writing skills;
  • Understanding of digital marketing techniques, including writing, email marketing, social media (paid and organic) as well as web and search engine optimization (SEO), AB testing;
  • Strong research, project management, and analytics skills;
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills;
  • Self-sufficient, creative, proactive, and flexible;
  • Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines;
  • Great ability to work as a team;
  • Sharp customer service sense and an impeccable professional ethic.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the production and development of marketing tools;
  • Coordinate displays, sales tools and printed advertisements;
  • Help with the implementation of marketing and communication campaigns;
  • Analyze and present the results of marketing initiatives;
  • Manage the annual renewal of associations and the prospect database;
  • Update and manage our customer database;
  • Deal with printers and suppliers;
  • Order clothing for employees and manage inventory;
  • Collaborate with other team members on issues such as creating and writing social media, digital campaigns, public relations, etc.,
  • Organize events;
  • Manage department expenses;
  • Coordinate translation requests and proof corrections;
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
