YOUR EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ year of outbound driven phone sales experience; technical or software space preferred
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills; excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Proven success rate of exceeding quota
  • Good computer skills; previous experience with CRM – Outreach.io and/or Salesforce.com are a plus
  • Ability to balance persuasion with professionalism; possess the motivation to grow and win, individually and as part of a team
  • Ability to multi-task and track multiple issues; highly organized and able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team focused environment
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to work autonomously while maintaining focus and work ethic

Responsibilities:

As a Marketing Development Representative (MDR) at SolarWinds, you lead the creation and development of new sales opportunities. Leads the effort in demand generation campaigns. Qualification and research against inbound leads as well as the requalification of previously disqualified accounts and contacts passed back from the Sales Development teams. MDR’s at SolarWinds are an important customer facing channel for the company and represent SolarWinds to both prospective customers as well as existing customers. It is important to have a good technical understanding of software tools for IT Professionals and be able to communicate complex product benefits.
