You will play a vital role in supporting the Marketing team. You will work closely with the Company Manager and Marketing Manager in the implementation of effective marketing communications for Gateway Arts’ programmes and supporting front-of-house. You will gain valuable experience in marketing communications coordination, comprehensive administration ability, problem solving and interpersonal relationship skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass/Marketing Communications, Arts Management, or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in marketing or communications. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Self-disciplined, independent, and task/goal driven individual.
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and resourceful individual.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple duties and assignments.
  • Creative and proactive individual with positive mind-set and can-do attitude.
  • A team player with good interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills.
  • Good knowledge of Singapore’s arts scene, especially theatre would be advantageous for you.
  • Flexibility with regards to working days and hours (able to work on weekends, Eve of Public Holidays and Public Holidays, if necessary).
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
  • Proficient in MS Office application and Adobe Photoshop.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of Gateway Arts’ programmes.
  • Assist and support the Marketing team in the development and execution of effective marketing campaigns for Gateway Arts’ programmes to improve brand visibility, awareness and recollection.
  • Responsible for programme marketing and publicity including direct marketing/selling to schools, corporations and groups to achieve optimal attendance and ticket sales.
  • Assist in content creation for marketing/publicity materials and social media assets (for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
  • Monitor and maintain digital marketing channels and engagement.
  • Market research and analysis including research on and explore existing and potential marketing channels, and research on industry news and trends.
  • Record and analyse data from existing marketing channels, and offer insights, focused on increasing audience engagement and conversion.
  • Responsible for following up, processing and managing tickets for donors, partners, sponsors, groups, schools, cast, crew, creatives, management and staff.
  • Assist in ticket inventory management to maximise ticket sales.
  • Handle the allotment of internal orders, sponsors fulfilment and ticket distribution.
  • Assist in processing tickets and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Responsible for school, corporation and group bookings including end-to end marketing/sales process.
  • Liaise with school representative to organise arrival and dismissal of students on show days.
  • Coordinate with ticketing agent to manage door sales.
  • Handle the front-of-house for Gateway Arts’ programmes.
  • Work closely with venue front-of-house manager to deliver a smooth audience experience.
  • Handle and resolve audience enquiries/ feedback on the ground.
  • Research and document media coverage of Gateway Arts’ programmes.
  • Maintain marketing documents and administrative archiving in good order.
  • Support Gateway Arts’ special projects, events, and initiatives as required.
  • Other administrative work assigned by supervisor.
