Let’s talk about this role
As the Marketing Executive – Trade, you will work with the Partnerships team and the broader Travel Marketing team to drive commercial goals and revenue targets for nib Travel primarily in Australia and New Zealand.

Primarily you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and executing on regular marketing activities aimed at building, nurturing partner engagement and increased conversion in the agency and affiliate channels
  • Assist in driving brand awareness and engagement with nib Travel in trade and B2B channels
  • Increasing partner engagement through acquisition and retention initiatives
  • Supporting global affiliate marketing programs for the World Nomads brand
  • Identifying key market and traveller data and insights and use this to better understand our partner audiences and segments and support the traveller lifecycle.
  • Overseeing the tactical development, execution and analysis of trade marketing campaigns, marketing initiatives and projects

Let’s talk about you
To be successful in role you will have a generalist marketing background along with 1-2 years experience in an Executive role.
You will have specific expertise in the area of B2B marketing, trade promotions and affiliate marketing. This includes creating compelling copy, and producing printed and electronic collaterals, flyers and brochures.
Managing a range of stakeholders, both internally and externally, you need to be able to build strong relationships effectively and be a strong collaborative team player with an eye for the customer and commercial opportunity.

Furthermore, we’re looking for someone with:

  • Strong communication, negotiation, presentation and influencing skills
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, methodical, process-oriented approach
  • Well-developed attention to detail
  • Ability to context shift between our three travel insurance brands plus our partner brands
