Marketing Finance Executive

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Manage and co-ordinates activities to provide value added, commercially focussed insights to the business.

Plan and monitors the execution of strategy through:

• Working with respective budget holders to ensure delivery of SOP and YE targets.
• Acts as an interface between business units and specialized finance functions as required.
• Provision of high-quality financial information and advice to business units
• Identifies, implements and reviews effective internal financial planning processes and controls
• Sharing insightful financial analysis showing the financial implications of decisions and helping the business unit get approval for commercially viable business cases, budgets and investment proposals
• Build strong financial and commercial awareness within business units and challenge business managers to improve performance
• Defines and implements best practice planning and control techniques in line with business needs

II. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 4+ years of experience in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment.
• Proven track record of success.
• Degree educated with professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA/MBA).
• Strong interpersonal skills: self-motivated, desire for self-development and ability to influence.
• Insightful, comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty, pro-active, collaborative and willing to implement new processes / ways of working.
• Experience in strategic analysis & planning and execution, performance metrics, project evaluation and commercial acumen.
• Ability to simplify complex situations and synthesize and present complex information.
• Knowledge of SAP/HFM/BI/BCP an advantage.

PURPOSE STATEMENT

To support the Commercial Finance Manager, Beyond Nicotine Finance team and Main functions within W&S and Cannabis business in providing structured and insightful analysis of financial and non-financial data in order to influence and enable strategic financial decisions. Translate strategies into plans and budgets, providing commercial insights relating to past and future performance.
