Details regarding the role
As Manager, Marketing Intelligence you will play an important role in the delivery of our Performance with Integrity ambition across OMD’s clients.
This role is responsible for leading online intelligence projects, including project scoping, building queries in our social listening tool, data analysis and report preparation and presentation.
You will be part of a great team of eight researchers with many different backgrounds. We emphasise performance with integrity while having fun at the same time. We work across all of our offices in Australia.

Setting up projects in our social listening tool, Brandwatch, including Boolean query writing, data cleaning etc.

  • Analysing & interpreting online intelligence data (key focus on social listening)
  • Ensuring quality control over written reports
  • Presenting & debriefing back to the client
  • Ensuring presentations contain actionable results for clients

About your skills and experience

  • A curious mind and genuine passion for understanding consumers, brands and categories through research
  • Ability to spot gaps in client knowledge and see areas for future research
  • Ability to turn data into insights with strong storytelling skills
  • Be comfortable leading studies and making strategic and tactical recommendations to clients
  • Ability and confidence to build client relationships
  • Experience with social listening tools desired, but not required
  • Experienced to advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Minimum 3 years work related experience. Can be from agency or client side, working with consumer insights, social media, social listening etc.
  • Strong attention to detail and highly analytical
  • Flexibility and the ability to work across various projects, clients, and industries
  • High level of organisational and time management skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Taking sole responsibility/lead for client projects feeding into strategy and specific measurement studies
  • Client service management skills for day to day contact with clients
