Description:

+250 generic molecules, including 20 of the 25 most important molecules on the market, Sandoz holds one of the largest portfolios of generic and biosimilar pharmaceutical products in Canada.
The Marketing team that the chosen candidate will join for the duration of their internship is a dynamic, welcoming, and efficient team. The intern will have the chance to learn about the role of marketing manager, participate in the implementation and preparation of generic molecule launches, learn more about patient support programs, the pharmaceutical market and deepen your mastery of databases such as Excel while learning the dynamics of the generic pharmaceutical market.
Our role as manager of the intern will also be to introduce him to the role of other inter-functional teams who actively collaborate with the marketing department to give him an overall vision and demonstrate the importance of teamwork to achieve success with concrete examples and motivating projects.
About the internship:
Reporting to the Marketing Director, Customer Engagement, the intern will be part of the marketing team (biosimilar-generic division) at Sandoz. He/she will participate in several varied projects in Marketing: Competitive monitoring of our competitors in order to identify business opportunities, support for the launch and the marketing of new generic drugs, development of associated promotional tools generic product launches, development of multi-channel strategies, participation in strategic meetings and meetings with the sales force on the positioning of our product launches, related projects with our patient support programs team and collaboration in the management of our professional pharmacy programs.

Your responsibilities:

  • Support and lead within the team in the maintenance of our new web portal for healthcare professionals (Sandoz Connect);
  • Creation of various promotional tools to support generic product launches (allows learning and mastery of new digital platforms/tools such as BeePro and Pitcher);
  • Analyze competitor inventory shortages and identify opportunities;
  • Analysis of market data and recommendations to the sales and marketing team;
  • Competitive monitoring of Patient Support Programs set up by the competition and analysis of the services offered for future generic launches;
  • Development of multiple promotional tools to support the sales force for our product launches;
  • Collaboration in the implementation of pharmacy programs and monitoring with performance reports.

  • Have completed a first year of Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/ Management/ Communication/ Pharmacology or any other field related to the pharmaceutical industry and/or marketing;
  • Good analytical skills;
  • Good knowledge of Excel;
  • Be autonomous, rigorous in your work and oriented towards results;
  • Likes working on different projects (varied tasks);
  • Bilingualism in French and English, oral and written.
