Minimum criteria:

  • Proven successful experience in using strategic market and data insights to develop data-driven marketing campaigns and/or CRM strategies that drive customer conversion, loyalty, and/or retention.
  • Proven successful experience in developing segmented, personalised, and tailored email campaigns, with a clear understanding of automation opportunities.
  • At least 5+ years experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or a similar campaign management tool.
  • Experience of directing and managing agency support.
  • Excellent written and spoken communications skills.
  • Experience of preparing and managing budgets.
  • Demonstrable experience in sharing expertise to up-skill other team members, encouraging creativity and innovation.
  • Demonstrable experience in achieving targets/results, focused on organising and bringing people and resources together to achieve objectives.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Motability Operations is looking for a Marketing Manager to join its Marketing Team. This role will be instrumental in supporting two critical business objectives: 1) moving our customers into a digital-first mindset and 2) supporting customers choosing to lease an electric vehicle for the first time.

This role will be responsible for delivering market-leading customer communications and campaigns across the entire lifecycle, from prospect conversion through to customer renewal and advocacy. This will be achieved through the following areas of focus:

  • campaign strategy (designing the who, what, when and how)
  • marketing automation (via Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and capability enhancements
  • campaign measurement and reporting

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing multi-channel CRM campaigns across the customer lifecycle, maximising opportunities for targeting, personalisation and conversion rate optimisation.
  • Being the Salesforce Marketing Cloud ‘expert’ for the Marketing team; ensuring campaigns are best-in-class, futureproof and upskilling others in campaign management.
  • Defining and tracking key performance metrics; working with the team to manage performance, standardise reporting, and ultimately using data and insights to refine campaign plans, save time and support prioritisation.
  • Developing test and learn strategy to continuously improve results across conversion, retention and engagement, addressing customer segment-specific needs.
  • Inspiring, motivating and supporting the wider Customer Marketing team to think, act and deliver their best to execute the strategy while supporting them to achieve their professional development goals.
  • Managing agency partners; being the lead contact for our email agency, as we transition email marketing capabilities to sit in-house.
  • Feeding into the budget tracking process and defining annual budget requirements.

About the team:
The Marketing Manager role will sit within the Customer Marketing team and report to the Senior Customer Marketing Manager. Working collaboratively across the organisation, the team have the opportunity to bring new thinking to our marketing strategies, with a particular focus on electric vehicle adoption and supporting our digital first approach in engaging with customer audiences.
