SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years’ B2B marketing experience
  • Proven experience partnering successfully with sales teams
  • Data-driven and have the ability to draw insight from complex marketing data
  • Proven ability to design and implement integrated multi-touch programs that involve the marketing of thought leadership assets along with a problem/solution approach
  • Ability to leverage data and insights in the development of marketing plans aligned to account strategies
  • Able to navigate a complex environment involving stakeholders in various business functions

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

Argus, a fast-growing global B2B media company, is seeking a self-motivated, results focused, detail-oriented marketing professional to join the team in London. This position is a great opportunity for an experienced ABM marketing manager who thrives on deploying both the art and science of marketing to drive aggressive revenue growth. We are currently a $300 million brand leader looking to take Argus to the next level.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated and radiates a can-do positive energy, capable in working through ambiguity to deliver marketing campaigns that build the brand and explicitly produce high quality sales leads.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND COMPETENCIES

This role will be responsible for planning, organising, executing, and measuring programs that create relevant two-way interactions with buyers and customers to inform and influence their buying decisions and broader relationship with Argus Media. Aligned to a customer or market segment the Marketing Manager will work with sales account managers to support the attainment of customer acquisition and account growth objectives.

The primary objectives of this position are:

  • Supporting sales in selecting the most appropriate candidate accounts for ABM programs. These accounts will be chosen from the highest value Argus client companies.
  • Translating sales and account objectives (opportunity and relationship-based) into project plans for marketing support
  • Promoting marketing plans internally, updating them through collaboration with sales
  • Identifying internal and external resources for use in marketing execution for targeted strategic accounts
  • Orchestrating and leading ongoing check-ins to ensure progress to account goals, monitoring and developing account plans, and staying focused on upcoming account requirements
  • Participating actively in regular account reviews and calls
  • Educating and inspiring account managers on the potential role of marketing within strategic accounts, as well as being the ABM centre of excellence within Argus Media
  • Providing ongoing data and insights on strategic accounts and contacts within these accounts
  • Measuring and analysing ABM program performance on account targets
  • Building out and evolving a customer lifecycle marketing program that encourages usage/engagement and cross-sell
  • Understanding which internal marketing campaigns and assets to leverage for ABM engagement/retention planning
  • Customising ABM programs for regional deployment
