THE ROLE ON OFFER

Capgemini is a global leader in partnering with companies to transform and manage their business by harnessing the power of technology. The Group is guided everyday by its purpose of unleashing human energy through technology for an inclusive and sustainable future. The Marketing and Communication team’s goal is to increase market presence, build intimacy and drive demand through the work we do for clients. As part of the team, you will work closely with partner, sector and account teams as well as our offshore team members which include design, web, social and campaign support.
The successful candidate will be able to build the marketing and communications plan for Capgemini’s key technology alliance partners, ensuring alignment to the UK marketing strategy. You will plan, manage and deliver multiple marketing campaigns, events and activities that integrate and support the go-to-market approach, using a variety of channels. This will include responsibility for monitoring progress of campaigns and initiating follow up activity to ensure all leads are tracked in the CRM system to demonstrate ROI. You will also plan and deliver a programme of external communications designed to increase the visibility of the Capgemini brand with key technology alliances in the UK market.
The role will work closely with the alliance managers, UK sales and account teams, and marketing managers for each industry. You will also interact regularly with global marketing colleagues, and our offshore team members who provide design, web and social support.
You will report into Marketing Director, UK, and work closely with the extended marketing team to support the wider UK Marketing & Communication (M&C) priorities.

YOUR ROLE

  • You’ll be responsible for driving awareness, pipeline and opportunity for Capgemini and our key technology partners.
  • Marketing strategy: Work with the alliance heads, Marketing Director UK, and industry marketing team, to set the overall marketing strategy and programme for alliances, in line with the overall UK M&C strategy, and then deliver it.
  • Lead generation and sales enablement: Design and implement B2B lead generation marketing campaigns. This will require collaboration with senior sector, sales and partner leads to identify target audiences.
  • Support partner relationship development: Collaborate closely with alliance partner leads to enhance Capgemini’s relationship with technology partners, mostly through comms and building partner marketing relationships.
  • Brand awareness: Identify opportunities to enhance the Capgemini brand in the market, specifically aligned with our UK technology partners. This will include digital distribution of content such as client wins, success stories and thought leadership; working closely with the external communications team.
  • Event management: Plan and deliver key business events. This includes, contract negotiation, logistical management, client/prospect invitations, content creation and distribution, and pro-active follow-up activity.
  • Tracking and reporting: Pro-actively manage the lead management process to ensure leads associated with marketing activity are tracked via our CRM system (Salesforce) and can be used to demonstrate contribution to pipeline and bookings. (Experience in THOR would be beneficial but not essential.)
  • Platform use/management: Master and leverage tools as appropriate to role e.g. newsletter builders, social media channels, event portals.
  • Agency management: To create campaign collateral you will manage the process with copywriters and designers – internal and agency – from brief through to publication.
