Description:

City Education Group (which incorporates City Colleges, City Language School, Ashfield College and Progressive College) is a dynamic private education provider headquartered in Dublin that delivers transformative education programmes to students at second; and third levels, while also focusing on professional, higher and vocational training.
We are seeking to appoint a Marketing Manager to lead our Marketing Team. The ideal candidate will come from a marketing background, preferably with experience in educational marketing, and have a passion for contemporary marketing and its best practices.

ESSENTIAL

  • Third Level qualification in Marketing.
  • 5+ Years’ experience in a previous Marketing role.
  • Previous experience in the Education Industry is desirable.
  • Professional experience in marketing campaigns, planning, implementation, management and reporting.
  • Proficiency with; Google Ads, Google Analytics, WordPress, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, SEO and External Agency Management.
  • Experience using and updating WordPress website(s)
  • High level knowledge and experience with CRM systems (Salesforce)
  • Excellent management and leadership skills.
  • A record of proven results in a similar role.
  • Strong effective communicator who is detail orientated.
  • Ability to increase productivity and continuously improve methods within the company.
  • Strong understanding of different marketing techniques.
  • Ability to plan, organise and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with social media management.
  • Ability to generate creative ideas to engage audiences and potential customers.
  • Proven understanding of branding within the Higher Education industry.
  • Financial planning and budget management.
    The Marketing Manager will play a central role within CEG.

The appointee will carry out such duties as are assigned by management including, but not limited to:

  • Lead and motivate the marketing team.
  • Working with Senior Management to set the marketing strategy for the Group.
  • Researching and analysing market trends and competitors.
  • Manage the promotion and positioning of our brand through relevant marketing channels, as appropriate.
  • Create and manage marketing campaigns to raise brand awareness and increase our online presence.
  • Tracking and analysing the performance of marketing campaigns and generating weekly/monthly reports.
  • Use data and analytics to provide recommendations to management in optimising campaign performance.
  • Managing the budget, in consultation with the Global Director of Sales & Marketing, of the marketing department and making sure the budget spend is delivering a return on investment.
  • Seeking out new commercial opportunities for the Group.

Salary: The salary scale is commensurate with experience.
Location: Office-based in Dublin initally, with a move to hybrid as agreed with Line Manager.
