Crossed Keys Estate is a family owned and operated wedding venue, seeking passionate individuals to bring the same level of care and hard work that the family brings to each event. With 40 years of wedding experience, we pride ourselves on a unique personal touch and excellent service.
The Marketing Manager is responsible for understanding the customer base to manage brand awareness and development through various social media channels and marketing platforms for Crossed Keys Estate, Crossed Keys Design and Crossed Keys Inn. The goals are to reach target clients in the luxury weddings industry, generate effective content, increase traffic to venue website and social media outlets and support the overall sales process/client experience. The ideal candidate would have creative and effective communication skills to develop written and visual content for all long- and short-form organic social media and will play a critical role in representing the brand in a positive and inviting way.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead marketing campaigns and external partnerships to drive brand awareness and new client acquisition
  • Creating and managing all published content on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest and venue’s website
  • Building community by replying to comments and mentions and engaging brand audience
  • Providing ongoing SEO and social media optimization to increase views and prospective/current client engagement
  • Developing strategies to improve the client experience, pre-, during and post-weddings as part of overall marketing goals
  • Staying current with wedding industry and social media trends and competition to identify target audiences, topics for future content and opportunities for growth and engagement
  • Attending weddings to capture footage of wedding day events and generate content based on the client experience
  • Ensuring all communications to prospective/current clients align with the wedding sales and execution processes
  • Maintaining venue’s presence on partner sites such as The Knot, Weddingwire, Zola
  • Designing marketing materials such as sales literature, photo albums, menus, welcome guides, and email blasts as needed
  • Cultivating relationships with wedding vendors to gather content captured on wedding days
  • Organizing and cataloging photos collected from weddings as a resource for future marketing campaigns
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or as necessary. Remain flexible and adaptable in work schedules and work assignments as defined by departmental and organizational needs

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years in marketing & social media management preferred
  • Demonstrable experience with social analytics tools
  • Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed
