Description:

JOB OVERVIEW:

As aMarketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading programs designed to educate customers and associates about the company’s financial and insurance services. This role will be centered around developing strategies and creating content that informs and educates and deploying it across a variety of media including articles, social content, video, presentations, email campaigns, and training sessions.
This role includes researching and writing educational content about insurance and financial products and understanding how to make it engaging and useful to a broad audience.
Beyond producing content, theMarketing Managerplays a key role in designing promotional calendars, virtual events, and different marketing tactics to deliver that content to the right audience. The role will organize, develop, and lead onboarding and ongoing training for associates and key internal audiences related to the company’s financial programs and services.
The ideal candidate will bring experience in marketing and working with educational B2B content. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent writing skills are a must. (AP Style)
  • Three years of experience in corporate marketing, B2B services, agency, training, or communications environment, with direct responsibility for producing content for a variety of topics and audiences
  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, business, English, marketing, communications, advertising, or related field.
  • Outstanding written, verbal, presentation, and editing skills
  • Understanding B2B services, and/or background in a training function within a similar industry.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Must be able to adapt style, tone, and voice to suit different communications platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to execute on strategy, strong business acumen
  • Tech savvy, strong knowledge of Microsoft Office,
  • Experience with HubSpot and Asana (not required but preferred)
    Top candidates will be asked to complete a writing assignment.

Responsibilities:

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • In collaboration with FirstService Financial and the marketing team, create compelling content to connect with existing and prospective clients during each phase of the sales and marketing lifecycle, including articles, presentations, webinars, email communications, digital assets, and training/educational materials
  • Research, design, and pilot new strategies to deliver content and campaigns through new media and creative solutions.
  • Lead content management for the brand’s website, as well as all training content, marketing literature, and other assets.
  • Assist with the design and procurement of promotional and event materials. Identify key sponsorship and networking opportunities for FirstService Financial associates.
  • Collaborate with the training department to develop and lead onboarding and ongoing training (related to financial programs and services) for new and tenured associates.
