Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

The Marketing Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of downstream product marketing for the SOZO® Digital Health Platform and serve as the subject matter expert to our external facing Sales & Clinical teams, collaborating to develop effective messaging and sales and implementation support materials to effectively support sales process and customer acquisition. In this role, The Marketing Manager will demonstrate a deep understanding of our HCP customer base across multiple disciplines as well as patient population and effective communication strategies and partnerships for outreach. The Marketing Manager reports to the Senior Director, Downstream Marketing and works in close collaboration with our Sales, Clinical, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Creative, Upstream Marketing and external partners and vendors for commercial marketing execution.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities (Essential Functions of the Position) include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Understand customer pain points and their strategic objectives across multiple key stakeholders to create relevant marketing messaging.
  • Identify opportunities to develop support tools/processes that increase sales productivity and effectiveness in the field.
  • Understand and effectively convey the competitive landscape; create competitive tools, messaging, and training.
  • Plan and coordinate the tactical execution of new product launch plans.
  • Develop differentiating value offer/positioning and messaging.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that operational requirements are met prior to launch.
  • Develop and deliver sales training & tools to ensure effective product launch and ongoing training plans
  • Support the annual marketing planning process through market segmentation analysis.
  • Drive the planning, deployment, and execution of key projects and programs to ensure the timely completion of marketing deliverables towards the achievement of established marketing strategies.
  • Coordinate development and deployment of KOL customer materials to highlight successes and best practices, including testimonials, case studies, videos, and webinars etc.
  • Coordinate development and deployment of patient marketing materials and collaborate with external partners for effective patient advocacy. Other duties as assigned

Typical Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Must understand, follow, and comply with regulatory requirements, as applicable to various processes. An understanding of FDA Quality System Regulations and ISO Standards (ISO 13485) is required.
  • Must possess a thorough understanding of work-related standards and regulations, including but not limited to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Quality System Regulations (QSRs), both US and international.

Typical Minimum Education, Experience, or Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or related field or business. MBA or advanced degree a strong plus.
  • Requires 6+ years of marketing and/or commercial experience in medical technology, diagnostics, life sciences, or other healthcare field with a consistent track-record of high performance and results.
  • Strong business and financial acumen are desired.
  • Experience in planning and executing product launches and marketing is required.
  • Experience in software and cloud-based solutions is preferred.
  • Experience in the Oncology market is a plus.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Workspace: Position may be full-time in office, or hybrid with two days in the office weekly. This hybrid position requires suitable remote workspace and internet connection.
  • Travel: Position requires business travel (including overnight), estimated up to 20%. Must be available for occasional international travel. Valid driver’s license and valid passport required.
  • Physical Demand: Moderate physical effort. For example, frequent standing, bending/stooping, or balance needed. Requires operating light office equipment, e.g., personal computer, printer etc. The employee must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds of equipment. Sitting, standing and/or walking for up to eight plus hours per day. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus in relation to travel and operating a personal computer.
  • Mental Demand: Moderate to high degree of concentration

This position may require access to patient Protected Health Information (PHI) and may also involve access to electronic Protected Health Information (ePHI). Those in this position are required to comply with all final regulations including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).
