JOB DESCRIPTION

A Marketing Manager position is available at one of the world’s leading fragrance and flavor companies. This Dubai based position is one that offers a collaborative work environment, experience in a fast-paced industry, and a chance to impact both new and established fragrance brands.
We are looking for a teammate to be responsible for brand and marketing strategies to support the growth of the Fine Fragrance category in the Gulf Cooperation Council region.
The candidate will drive IFF business growth by building differentiating customer value propositions for regional customers, tapping into customer growth opportunities.
The person will work closely with the Account Managers and Evaluators in charge of the region and will report directly into the Senior Marketing Manager based in our Dubai Creative Center, UAE.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of brand, communication and/or retail marketing experience in the Beauty and Fine Fragrance Industry
  • Fluent in English and Arabic
  • Willing to Travel
  • Microsoft Office skills a must

Responsibilities:

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the key GCC fine fragrance markets, retail channels, activations, communication, new launches, key consumption periods and consumers to be and act as the expert of the markets
  • Identify and leverage key social, product, brand, format and olfactive trends to translate them into customized fragrance solutions for local customers and help build marketing rationale and concepts
  • Keep abreast of global fragrance and format trends and share insights with local teams consistently
  • Analyze customer brands’ strategies, portfolio, and products to proactively identify gaps and needs, transforming them into actionable insights and strategic business opportunities
  • Partner with Account Managers to build strong programs and relationships with targeted customers
  • Understand and use IFF corporate capabilities to differentiate IFF from competitors
  • Plan, coordinate, organize and execute inspirational and impactful customer engagement presentations, events and workshops translating them into business opportunities
  • Drive collaboration with cross-functional & regional teams to build strong fragrance storytelling, olfactive descriptions, perfumer interviews and design product concepts that are deeply rooted in trends, consumer insights data and relevant to the market
