Marketing Manager

Jones Engineering are looking for a passionate, independent Marketing Manager to join the team. The Marketing Manager will report directly to the Head of Marketing and plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of marketing functions and initiatives. They will lead a team of marketing colleagues and will be responsible for coordinating various activities, supporting campaigns, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
The role is based full- time in our headquarters in Pembroke, Dublin 4

In this role, you will;

  • Coordinate with the marketing team on projects from conception to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved. Take responsibility for the marketing team and functions within the business whilst managing our brand awareness and brand guidelines.
  • Liaise with the head of marketing to align strategies and goals. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with other departments. Communicate effectively with team members and external partners.
  • Provide administrative support to the Head of Marketing including scheduling meetings, organizing files, and managing team communications.
  • Liaise with the Head of Marketing to Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing campaigns across various channels including digital, print, social media, email, and events and to track campaign progress.
  • Liaise with the Head of Marketing, as well as the Communications Manager to develop and manage content calendars, ensuring consistent messaging and branding across all marketing materials.
  • Liaise with the Digital Marketing Assistant in managing digital marketing channels including social media, Website, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and online advertising campaigns.
  • Track and analyse marketing metrics and campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights to optimize strategies..
  • Assist the Graphic designer in maintaining brand consistency and integrity across all marketing initiatives, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines. As well as collaborate with them to produce promotional materials.
  • Write and edit marketing copy for various purposes including website content, social media posts, email campaigns, and promotional materials
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners to support marketing initiatives and collaborations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve marketing strategies and tactics.

For this role, you will need;

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 3+ years minimum experience as a Marketing Manager, Marketing officer or in a similar role.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and marketing software/tools.
  • Demonstrated the ability to develop and implement marketing strategies.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels and analytics platforms.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in digital and social media marketing
  • Previous experience in the industry or relevant certifications (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot) are a plus but not necessary.
