Description:

We love food and especially Seafood, so you need to too. Show us you are passionate about choreographing, marketing and working within this sector and have, and are always looking for, ideas we can incorporate.
We need a Marketing Manager who is starting out in their career in the marketing and franchising world. Your main focus will be to implement and manage all marketing activity for this Seafood Business which has two distinct businesses. Each business is nationally franchised with multiple stores. You will take the ownership and management of multiple social handles. You will be comfortable delivering B2C campaigns across all channels including online and direct marketing and will work closely with key partners such as Coke, Sealord and McCains.
Working under the direction of the business owner, you will be working with a relaxed fun team, in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ownership and implementation of the national marketing plans for two distinct businesses.
  • End to end campaign delivery across all channels.
  • Communicate marketing strategy to franchisees.
  • Populate and manage our social media channels and digital marketing activity.
  • Create marketing design and key resources for campaign purposes.
  • Monthly reporting to the team and wider group.
  • Campaign budgeting.
  • Building relationships with franchisees and other marketing professionals on local area marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate local advertising spend requirements.
  • Working with key suppliers, SEO, Creative, Web.

The skills you’ll need to work your magic:

  • Be a problem solver.
  • At least one+ years working in a marketing role.
  • Be dynamic.
  • Fluent in English (written & spoken).
  • Understanding of best practice marketing principles, especially digital, direct marketing and social media.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in working with Adobe Creative Suites (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, etc.
  • Experience in working with a marketing strategy app (e.g. Strathub).
  • Have implemented successful digital marketing campaigns before.
  • Minimum one+ years’ experience in the FMCG/Food industry.
  • Photography skills to add to existing resource library.

You will be required to be a New Zealand resident or have a valid NZ working visa.
You will be required to commute during work hours, therefore, you are required to have a reliable commuting vehicle and a valid NZ driving licence.
You will be required to assist in food preparation in our food truck travelling across New Zealand from time to time as part of our direct marketing, therefore experience in the food industry is needed.
You will also need to be able to work closely with other marketers, Store Owners and other stakeholders, and demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills to maintain and build relationships.
