Servest is a leading black-owned facilities management company, providing integrated facilities solutions for the internal and external built and marine environments, including solutions such as internal and external design and space planning, cost optimisation analysis, carbon impact reduction, cleaning, parking, catering, hygiene, security, pest control, office plants and landscaping solutions across multiple African countries.
If you live and breathe marketing, we need to talk. We’re looking for a dynamic, talented and driven Marketing Manager to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the marketing strategy for our diverse range of facilities management solutions. Working closely with the Executive Manager for Marketing, you will leverage your deep understanding of our corporate and business unit offerings to develop and implement marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, generate leads and support business growth

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Matric
  • BSc/BA or diploma in marketing, communications or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years experience in marketing. B2B marketing experience would be beneficial.
  • Demonstrable digital marketing experience with a focus on content development, social media management and lead generation tactics
  • Experience with data analytics and analytics tools
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, Salesforce, Canva and AI content generation tools would be beneficial

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Manager for Marketing with developing the marketing strategy for the company
  • Develop an intimate understanding of our corporate and business unit offerings and stay abreast of news and developments in each business
  • Offer marketing thought leadership and sound advice to key Corporate and Business Unit stakeholders, ensure alignment of marketing strategies with their business goals and collaborate with them in developing and executing annual marketing plans
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis to stay informed of market trends, identify opportunities, and develop strategies to maintain a competitive edge
  • Manage and improve lead generation campaigns, measuring and reporting on results at regular intervals
  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engage target audiences
  • Produce compelling and differentiated content for our website, social media and lead generation campaigns that attracts and converts our target audience
  • Plan and lead photo and video shoots to create compelling visual content that showcases our offerings and strengthens our brand identity
  • Develop high-quality marketing collateral for corporate and each business unit
  • Ensure that all design and copy work developed is aligned to the Servest brand positioning and brand identity
  • Manage external agencies and suppliers, ensuring they deliver in full, on time and within budget
  • Analyse, and report on, the effectiveness of all marketing efforts including their contribution to building the sales pipeline. Use data-driven insights to optimise strategies and achieve business objectives
  • Manage the budgeting, planning and executing of all internal marketing initiatives
  • Manage the allocated marketing budget and report on actuals, forecasted spend and savings. Always looking for ways to optimise marketing spend, reduce wastage and get the best bang for buck
  • Lead, mentor and manage a team of marketing co-ordinators and customer service/call centre agents
