Description:

At Westside Auto Wholesale, we have the largest range of vehicles in Australia. We sell over 1000 used cars a month out of our single location in Perth, Australia. Our high turnover means we need to continually acquire and purchase vehicles to ensure we have over 3000 vehicles available for sale. Westside Auto Service recently opened as the largest service centre in the country with a unique used vehicle offering for Western Australia.

Reporting to the Chief Digital Officer the Marketing Manager’s will contribute to the overall business growth objectives within Westside Auto. The ideal candidate has proven track record of successfully elevating digital engagement and campaign orchestration across multiple channels while obsessing with finding insights in the sea of KPIs. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, strategic thinking and love for data diving with a keen understanding of market trends. This role will ultimately own ongoing elevation of marketing channel excellence and analysis.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Knowledge of digital infrastructure necessary to support SEO, SEM, Display, Paid Social, Programmatic, Remarketing, PPC, Email and other digital channels.
  • Experience of creation and delivery of growth through customer-value journey within a D2C environment
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work efficiently and effectively within a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong ability to analyse and think strategically.
  • Ability to build relationships and partnerships both inside (local & global) and outside of the organisation, in and out of the company.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, or related field required.
  • 5+ years of experience developing and managing digital outreach campaigns, utilising content management and reporting tools across digital channels, including experience in paid, owned and earned media.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to derive actionable insights from marketing data. Proficient in using analytics tools to measure and optimise campaign performance.
  • Agency Management: Proven experience in managing agencies and creating relationships with technology and channel partners.
  • Strategic Thinker: A strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute digital marketing strategies that align with broader business goals.
  • Innovative Mindset: Ongoing curiosity and a passion for exploring new opportunities and technologies in the digital marketing landscape. Proactive in bringing innovative ideas to the organisation.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of industry tools (CRM database, social listening tools, Google analytics, Marketing automation…) as well as SEO, SEM, and e-commerce optimization.
  • Experience with product listings, data feeds and web analytics is strongly preferred.
  • Candidates with automotive industry experience will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategies and tactics to ensure we drive qualified leads and both walk-in and through our website.
  • Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution
  • Monitor, negotiate and execute deals with 3rd party lead providers as required to ensure efficient flow of third-party leads.
  • Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis
  • Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and blog that attracts and converts our target audiences and re-marketing systems.
  • Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors
  • Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely
  • Oversee and approve companywide customer touchpoints &, marketing material
  • Analytics and Reporting: Be the driving champion of data acceleration and tracking. Utilise data analytics to measure the performance of digital marketing campaigns, building internal benchmarks. Provide regular reports and insights to key stakeholders, highlighting successes and areas for improvement. Use data to optimize campaigns for maximum effectiveness.
  • Working with our CDP partner knowledge and experience in ad technology ecosystems, especially Google Ad Manager, header-bidder solutions, Programmatic, DMP technologies, cookie-less solutions would be advantageous.
  • Ensure call tracking systems are in place and used for missed call notifications into the lead systems and analytic software.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the digital marketing team. Stay curious about industry advancements and explore new opportunities to bring innovative solutions into the organisation.
  • Ensure vehicle photography and video is best in class and delivered in a timely manner
  • Analyse consumer behaviour and adjust email and advertising campaigns accordingly.
  • Oversee the duties of the marketing co-ordinators who report to you.
