JOB SUMMARY:

The Marketing Operations Analyst will act as a team player and self-starter with the ability to analyze tasks, be detail oriented, work independently and complete a broad range of duties associated with the media plans. Strong focus on maintaining and tracking annual spending of the budget. Additionally responsible for developing, editing, and executing copy for Brand at a Glance Materials. This individual will also be expected to apply creative thinking and solve new and existing business challenges.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or Marketing
Required or Acceptable Job-Related Experience:
Working on budgets in Marketing/Media
Years of Job-Related Experience Required:
2-3 Years

TECHNICAL/OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED:

MS Office Suite, strong analytical and communications skills

Responsibilities:

  • Enter monthly Purchase Orders of paid media, reconcile invoices against financial close on a monthly basis.
  • Maintain a budget tracker which details out the proposed budget, budget actuals to date, and forecasted budget.
  • Be the primary budget point of contact for Media Agency, Finance, Center of Excellence and Brand Marketing for budgetary issues and questions. Confirm monthly media authorizations are signed, budgets are in agreement with authorizations, any financial shifts are taken into account.
  • Maintain co-op initiatives that are in place throughout the year across the media plan and work with banner(s) and agency(s) to ensure spend is accurate and post campaign proof of performance metrics are delivered.
  • Resource planning for next year’s media plan/historical data.
  • Support commercial and content production through studio bookings, invoicing, talent contracts, bids, and statements of work.
  • Responsible for developing, editing, and executing copy for Brand at a Glance materials. Shape the user experience by creating clear, concise, and engaging copy across our digital platforms.
  • Ability to research and collaborate with business units to gather all needed information for issue resolution. Ability to analyze trend and offer suggestion. Provide support on projects and be able to adapt to a changing environment.
  • Ad hoc budget requests from Banners and media agency.
