We are looking for a driven and talented Marketing Operations Executive to join our remote-first team.
EdPlace is a growing online educational content and tuition provider helping parents and tutors across the UK support each child’s learning outside the classroom. We’ve helped over 100,000 students so far and are on a mission to reach over 1 million.

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join EdPlace and be part of Supporting Education Group, the UK’s leading education group, focussed on supporting every aspect of a child’s learning journey.
You will have the opportunity to play a pivotal part in the implementation of EdPlace’s marketing strategy, and our efforts to drive business growth.
We are building a 21st-century private tuition solution that will enable students from all walks of life to access the private tuition and educational content that they need to succeed in their academic lives.
The company is at an exciting stage of its growth having recently joined together with 3 tuition brands, as well as having recently developed its own AI tools through the Innovate UK Smart Grant scheme.
You will be working collaboratively with the Head of Marketing, other members of the Marketing Team, and external agencies.
You will be expected to support the wider team with projects & their responsibilities as and when required.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Effectively managing and improving our CRM system and its automated workflows, including how it integrates with our Analytics platform and the wider marketing tech stack, to ensure that our customer profiles are accurate and up to date with all relevant customer engagement events. You will be working with tools that include, but are not limited to: Klaviyo, Campaign Monitor, HubSpot, GA4, Mixpanel, Zapier and other third-party API integrations.
  • Develop a segmented communications calendar to ensure that we send our database relevant communications, as well as building an advanced series of automated workflows to ensure that we communicate with leads and customers at the right time.
  • Leading on the design and analysis of email marketing campaigns, including the planning of AB tests to ensure that we are constantly improving our efforts.
  • Managing the segmentation and lead qualification of our customer profiles to ensure recipients receive personalised communications, designed to support our customer service team and to promote our wider range of services.
  • Ensuring your efforts adhere to set KPIs/budgets and deliver relevant returns for the business.
  • Supporting the planning, executing, and analysing of all marketing campaigns - focused on delivering the best ROI.
  • Communicating new product features and initiatives to existing and prospective customers.
  • Encouraging customers to refer our services to their wider network to increase the number of referrals we receive.
  • Supporting and contributing to an ongoing culture of openness, transparency, excellence, and continuous growth and development.
  • Contributing to wider team projects and campaigns that positively impact key customer metrics (e.g. CAC, LTV, churn, etc.) and attract more customers to the business.
  • Staying abreast of new opportunities, technologies and changes to best practices that may provide opportunities to enhance customer acquisition.
